My girls are on Fall Break and the sun is finally shining after days of rain. what a wonderful start to the weekend. on the agenda today? Chinese for lunch then shopping at Hobby Lobby. I love looking for treasures at Hobby Lobby. There is always something that I just have to have.
I think the rest of the weekend will be lazy days playing with my girls. Walks in nature and trips to the park so they can shoot me with arrows again. The only day I work is Sunday so I will have lots of time to spend with my family. We're always so busy that this down time will be a relief and a blessing.

P.S. I don't remember ever having Fall Break when I was in school. Did any of you get this awesome vacation away from boring old school?
Chinese and Hobby Lobby sounds pretty darn good. I always spend hours when I wander into a Hobby Lobby.
ReplyDeleteThe school never gave us Fall Break, but my parents would give me one anyhow to do Halloween stuff the week before.... darn October cold... you can almost set your calendar by it ;)

We never had fall breaks when I was growing up. I think it's wonderful you are spending your time with your girls and I hope you find lots of treasures at Hobby Lobby. We don't have a Hobby Lobby here but I do shop online with them.

ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to go to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston this weekend. I did a nature hike yesterday and it was BLISS!! Enjoy the time with your girls!! It sounds like you have a great relationship with them!

ReplyDeleteMyself, I'm heading to Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio this Saturday. They have a big to-do this time of year called HalloWeekends. The whole park is decorated spookily and parts of the park are turned into haunted area with ghouls and goblins running around in the fog. A really cool way to enjoy an already-great place!
What is "Hobby Lobby"? Something like Michael's?

We never had a break like this in school! I know in Canada, I think they have more breaks now with the kids, then ever before? I don't understand! That sounds like a great way to spend a weekend! I'm sort of tied to the house because of the kittens needing feeding every three hours. It seems like just when I finish up with one feeding it's almost time for the next one.
