I will be busy for the next few days moving things out and re-arranging my house. Out with the old and in with the new; atmosphere that is. The girls have been wanting their own rooms so I am moving downstairs. Our living/family room is large so I think I can pull off turning it into a bedroom on one half and living room in the other. I'll share pic when I am done. I will try to visit everyone in blog land this weekend in between moving things. for now I will leave you with a quote.
"We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned so as to accept the life that is waiting for us." ~Joseph Campbell
Thank you all for the love and support you have shown me.
Blessings, V.
Love that quote.... it will come to mind many times as M rearranges the house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a really fun time creating Vivienne! I've been wanting to do the same but cannot move the furniture by myself and people avoid me like the plague when work is on the menu, lol.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you've created!
I love that quote by Joseph Campbell...
Radiant Blessings Dear Heart! :)
Your re-arranging and changing things around is just the ticket!!! You all will be busy, and the girls so excited to have their own spaces! Great idea all the way around. Good luck, and remember, lift with your legs, not your back!! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI like to re-arrange things and toss out junk I am not using. I plan to do that in January just in case we have to move again next year. Have fun...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all the re-arranging. I will be doing some of that this weekend, too. We live in a small townhouse and there's never enough space. It's Spring here, so I think a big Spring clean/de-cluttering may be the order of the day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great quote, although being a bit of an OCDish control-freak myself, it's not so easy for me to let go of my plans and go with the flow. Sigh.
Can't wait to see the pictures. Will you use a screen of some sort? I love rearranging. Whole new look. Zero dollars. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteGreat quote!
Hi V...Shine on my sister..How fabulous you are creating new space and letting the girls expand theirs too..you are so loving and wonderful! and your new magical room will be an awesome abode..can't wait to see it !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quote..

It's a lovely feeling when you start moving the old stuff out and move things in as a type of 'fresh start' hope you have fun! :) xx
ReplyDeleteI also thought about your back when I read your post, be careful!
ReplyDeleteHave fun creating your new space(s)
xx

Thanks for the comments everyone. still doing some moving around today. Downstairs is pretty much finished but the girls rooms need done today. So far my back is okay but legs a little sore from climbing the stairs so many times. Thank you for the concern.
ReplyDeleteHappy you enjoyed the quote. i thought it was a good choice for this time of year!
Blessings to all, V.
Good luck with the move and thanks for visiting my new blog again- it means a lot. I look forward to reconnecting with you once you've done your move!
ReplyDeleteVivienne, good for you! I am proud of you! Have fun with the re-arranging! I love the quote! I have to write it down! Blessings my friend ;o)
ReplyDeleteI do not really have any "Plans" ...( anytime that I "plan" anything all goes horribly awry ... So I try not to plan much of anything.... A Lot of house cleaning to do though... and must put plastic on all the broken and missing windows ....for it is very cold in the house..
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Lady Moss
Good luck with your moving. I love that quote. The older I get, the more I know it to be true.
ReplyDeleteYou're an awesome mom for helping your kiddos to have their own space. ^-^ Your girls are lucky! Hope all the moving & rearranging goes well & quickly.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
It is always therapeutic when we rearrange everything. It seems to symbolise a new way of life.
ReplyDeleteI wish you the very best of luck with your move, and hope your path forward is truly blessed with happiness.
Heart-felt Blessings :)
I like that Joseph Campbell quote! It's very true. Good luck with your rearranging. It sounds like your place will have a different look. I bet your girls are excited to get their own rooms!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for all the encouraging wors. i'm almost finished. Who knew there would be so much clutter. It's amazing what treasures you find while re-arranging your home. I will post pics soon of my bed/living room. The girls are loving their rooms and are still working on decorating them just the way they like it!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, V.
I can't wait to see your new space!
